Cave /N2, 2012, installation, Persian rugs, Afghan war rugs, fans, steam, table, plastic soldiers, plastic hobby tools, 350 x 300 x 800 cm (Installation view: exhibition "Cave", Kostka Gallery, Meet Factory, Prague, 2012)
Cave is a monumental model or installation of some special sort of mountain – a carpet mountain come to life. These rugs come from the Middle East (Persian carpets) and the areas of Afghanistan and have appeared here as souvenirs from the current or former "colonies". In the middle of this hill resembling the Middle East carpet manufactory situation and evoking a cave, there is a smoky entrance resembling a mouth opening. Miniature U.S. Army forces supported by ISAF units are gradually marching into the cave, or rather a „lion's mouth“ and disappearing in it. This military action begins at a high big wig’s base, a model making site where the soldiers are produced and trained as at a military base.    (Radovan Čerevka, 2012)
